Dear Friends,
The word "family" takes on a new meaning
when a loved one enters a difficult transition of life and health. After my
mother was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, I knew I wouldn't be able to
provide the proper amount of help that my parents would need. I started
researching home health care companies and discovered that the trends show
an aging population who want to remain in their own homes.
I also became aware that private duty home care had many
flaws and there was room for improvement. Starting my own private duty home
care service was the solution. I found myself excited about starting my own
business and making Visiting Angels the best private duty home care agency
in the Mid-Michigan area.
The decision to launch Visiting Angels of Frankenmuth
Michigan in January of 2000 was life changing; I sincerely love what I'm
doing. My husband and I are honored to be able to provide a top-notch
service to seniors and their families, as well as individuals who have been
injured from a motor vehicle accident or are recovering from surgery or
illness. We are also very proud of the job opportunities Visiting Angels
has created for all the hard working individuals who live in an economically
challenged region of Michigan.
Here at Visiting Angels we understand the worries
that go along with having someone other than you provide care for your
family member. We know every client is unique, so we personalize each
client's needs with a Plan of Care. We select caregivers who will best
coincide with the client's personality and care needed. Furthermore, clients
and their families may interview and choose the caregivers they feel are
best suited for the job.
